We took one day from visiting with my sister to make the trip to Sedona. This really is an amazing area to explore. This shot was taken from the airport. The Easter weekend crowds kept us from making it to all of the places on our agenda, but what we saw was well worth the trip!

Later in the week, Kelly and I drove to my sister's beautiful home in Parks, Arizona. We had a great time catching up on all the family talk. Their log home is absolutely wonderful, and the area is so peaceful.

After a few days at the WPPI Convention in Las Vegas, Kelly and I made a day trip to the Valley Of Fire. We spent all day hiking and taking pictures. It was a beautiful place for photography. The temp was 72 with a slight breeze (perfect).

Sitting at my desk, working on some pictures, this hawk caught my eye as it flew by the window. I found the bird in our backyard tree, and when I zoomed in with my camera, I discovered he also had a "to go" meal with him.

On Saturday, March 25, Kelly and I joined one of our camera clubs for a field trip to Rancho Santa Ana Gardens in Claremont. It was a wonderful day of walking tails and photographing plants, trees, bugs, and flowers. You can see all of my pictures on the web site, check under "Places Traveled."
