Los Angeles, California (July 2005) - Echo Park, Lotus blossoms in full bloom. I was fortunate to photograph the Lotus, which had bloomed in the park for more than 70 years before dying abruptly. Replanting is planned, but with budgetary problems, this may be many years away.
