Irvine, California (September 2007) San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary - More than 300 acres in size, SJWS has more than ten miles of trails ranging from elevated, wide, packed dirt trails around ponds to lower, narrower trails as one moves north from the entrance trails. The sanctuary is a sustainable urban landscape comprising riparian areas, freshwater holding ponds, mild slopes, and seasonal meadows/marshes on the Pacific Flyway.
